Ever since I found out about the wonderful world of the World Wide Web, I knew I just had to be a part of it. So, I tried to get connected as soon as possible. And, from the time I first heard the crackle of the modem I knew I was smitten. And, smitten for good it seems.
The Internet has surely changed our society. And for writers, it was changed for the better.

For me, this was the biggest appeal of online writing. There are thousands of online publications out there that are looking for quality writing and good writers. And, you donÂ’t have the usual boundaries of location. With just a crackle of the modem and a click of the mouse, you are literally tapping the global market where you could send your manuscripts.
2. Speed and Ease
Once you send your manuscripts from wherever you may be, to wherever the publication is located (the electronic magazineÂ’s home base may be in the middle of the Antarctic for all we know), there should be no more waiting for months at a time to query, receive responses, etc. Well there are still some waiting time occasionally, especially if you are submitting to a popular publication. But in general, everything moves quickly and easily on the web. Oh, and did I say that research and collecting materials for articles and stories is such a breeze on the web too?
