Domain Name Registrar Review: GODADDY.com

GoDaddy.com $3.99 Domain Name Sale
(Price: Low / Cheap)

If you’re looking for a domain name registrar for your online business, check out Go Daddy’s services.

GoDaddy.com is probably one of the cheapest domain name registrars you’ll find. They’re also reliable and they have good online documentation to help users with their accounts. However, getting “live help” (technical support) can be very difficult.

They offer additional services such as web hosting, pop emails, etc. Since I haven’t used those services, I’m unable to comment on their reliability. However, in terms of pricing, they seem reasonable.

If you already a web hosting account elsewhere and/or you just wish to re-direct your domain to another website, you don’t need to pay for any additional services. They do offer a lot of these “value added” services (including reduced price for additional domains) when you sign up, so it can get confusing. Just don’t worry about them. Besides, you can easily add these services later on, if you decide you need them.

*Disclosure: Yes, I am a GoDaddy.com affiliate, so if you purchase through this link, I’m supposed to get a commission from them. However, I’m also a genuine customer who’s not paid to write about them. I’ve registered and paid for their services and the reason I’m recommending them is because I’m quite happy with GoDaddy.com’s services.

Our company uses Godaddy for hosting, email, and we do utilize many of their other free services.

On top of it, as one of the World’s largest domain holders (we own and manage thousands of domains), we highly recommend them.

Making any change is a snap, and our favorite is the ease and speed of transfer when you sell to a new owner.
