For many years now, I’ve been hearing about several programmes claiming that people can get paid by taking online surveys. I even started a poll about it a few days ago. And, it looks like some people do get paid to take surveys online – but not much (no one’s reported to have been paid over US$50 a month).
Top-10-Surveys.com even has a comparison list and ratings of various USA and Canada-based survey companies.
I’ve never tried any of those that were mentioned in the list, as I remain skeptical about this way of making money online. I’ve only ever tried EMailCash Australia (emailcash.com.au), and even after taking over a dozen surveys, I have yet to see a cent. So, needless to say, I’m just not inspired to keep it up. I’m not sure if the effort is worth it. But, maybe I’ll explore more.
I’ll be interested to hear from those who actually tried this out and got positive results.
Hey, the real money in surveys comes from selling memberships for the sites that have the survey lists. They pay you a commission for everyone you refer. I managed to make more from this than filling surveys. Hope this helps,
Michael

The best surveys I have taken though are actually telephone interviews which some of the online survey companies will contact you for once you have developed a history with them. I have gotten checks for as much as $175 for 90 minutes “work” doing a telephone interview about online investing.
