Last time, I shared BlogClicker as one place to get traffic for your weblog. Now, I’d like to share BlogExplosion. It works pretty much the same way as BlogClicker. But in my case, I had a bit more of a learning curve for BlogExplosion. I think it’s mostly due to navigation issues. But, apart from this, I find that it’s also an effective way to get some “eyeballs” for your weblog.
With traffic exchange communities like BE and BC, there are four basic ways to get some “traffic credits” (credits are used so you can be assigned page views):
1) Follow the surfing rules and visit other members’ blogs through the admin interface.
2) Recommend other bloggers and get them to sign up so you get some bonus points.
3) Pay for some advertising/traffic.
4) Participate in competitions where they award bonus credits.
Again, to get started, you simply need to sign up, add your blog, wait for it to get approved and start collecting credits. Once you’re all set, then you can start seeing some traffic your way.

I’m signed up with both and find that I get a lot more traffic with BlogExplosion. It also gives better stats than BlogClicker where you can see if anyone leaves comments or has bookmarked you for later.
Yeah… now that I’m more familiar with BlogExplosion, I find it more useful than I did before.
