It’s been a while, so I think it’s time to share another site on affiliate programs. This time, let me talk about ShareASale.com. This network pretty much works in a similar fashion to Commission Junction and LinkShare.
You basically just sign-up, look for affiliate merchants that interest you, apply to their programmes, wait for […]

A few people have given me “positive prophecies” about getting rich. It’s great. It makes me feel hopeful that it can happen. Perhaps, if enough people believe in it? ;-)
However, sometimes, I just wonder about how that’s going to unfold. Will it be by winning in a Lotto Draw or by going on The Price […]

A few days ago, I wrote about making money online through DIY teaching. And, as I mentioned, you can either do this by yourself or by using a third party service.
One such third party service is UniversalClass.com. They basically offer you a venue where you can teach any class you wish to teach (as long […]

I just decided to start a new category here at Make Money Online, the “Show Me The Money” category. Why and what for?
Well, I know I write about making money here — telling you about my explorations, experiments and experiences (yes, I’m a fan of alliterations ;-)). So, I figured, I better tell you where […]

As you know, I’ve been experimenting with different ways to run ads as a way to make money online. While I’m very happy with Google AdSense, one thing I’ve learned as a freelancer and an entrepreneur (and ‘netrepreneur’) is never to put all my eggs in one basket. I’ve done this in the past […]

A couple of entries ago, I wrote about alternative ads to Google AdSense. And, I’ve been exploring those that were listed (and not listed).
Today, I was looking at Chitika, who bills itself as a “risk free on demand contextual advertising.” I was considering signing up and experimenting with one or two of my blogs, […]

One way to make money online is by teaching. If you can get hired by an online educational institution and be paid a salary, then that’s a good route to go. But, even if you don’t get an official virtual teaching appointment, you can still become a paid online instructor. You can do this via […]

I’ve been experimenting with online consulting services over the last few months. At this time, I’ve tried out two third party services so far: Keen.com and Kasamba. I have yet to review both services accordingly, but here’s my quick report so far:
One advantage of using third party services is that they have an existing customer […]

Nick at Threadwatch has a very good list of alternative ads to Google AdSense. It was based on TimYang.com’s Alternative advertising programs to Google adsense.
The only ones I’m familiar with in the list are: Clicksor, MarketBanker, BidClix, Chitika, Kanoodle, Yahoo YPN (still not active), and Fastclick.
But, I’m not sure how any of these affiliate […]

I became a Mozilla Firefox convert late in 2004. Even with its bugs and downsides, it’s still an all around great web browser. But, I’m not here to discuss the merits of Firefox over other browsers.
I’m here to tell you about this extension (plugin): the AdSense Notifier. If you’re using Google AdSense as a […]
