Nick at Threadwatch has a very good list of alternative ads to Google AdSense. It was based on TimYang.com’s Alternative advertising programs to Google adsense.
The only ones I’m familiar with in the list are: Clicksor, MarketBanker, BidClix, Chitika, Kanoodle, Yahoo YPN (still not active), and Fastclick.
But, I’m not sure how any of these affiliate ads are like compared to Google AdSense. I’ve only ever tried TextAds.biz (not in the list), which turned out to be a bit of a dud for me.
In any case, I’m always on the lookout for such things. I mean, I’m happy with AdSense, but it’s always worth checking other avenues. If/when I try any of these ads out, I’ll let you know.
