As you know, I’ve been experimenting with different ways to run ads as a way to make money online. While I’m very happy with Google AdSense, one thing I’ve learned as a freelancer and an entrepreneur (and ‘netrepreneur’) is never to put all my eggs in one basket. I’ve done this in the past and I suffered the consequences. So, lesson learned. And that’s why now, I’m always ready to diversify my income stream.
Anyway, my latest exploration brought me to CrispAds, thanks to a tip I received via Ryze.
Denise O’Berry of The Small Business Blog Directory and My Hurricane Tips encouraged me to look in to this tip further when she seemed very positive when talking about CrispAds.
So, I signed up. And when I did, I got approval in less than 4 hours and I received an invitation from Hans Chung to become a partner. When I applied for the partner programme, I received immediate approval as well. These quick personal responses impressed me a lot. With the impersonal nature of the Internet sometimes, it’s refreshing to find real people behind the dot.coms.
Anyway, I’m still not sure how to take this further. But, I’m currently running a couple of ads for CrispAds in this network to test the waters. I’ve also added CrispAds advertisements on my podcast’s blog and removed AdSense ads from it, as even though some people say that it’s OK to run both AdSense and CrispAds alongside each other (including Hans), I really don’t want to risk it at this stage. I need to investigate this further to make sure that it’s really all clear.
In any case, here are what some other bloggers have to say about CrispAds:
[...] under two years ago, I signed up for an account at CrispAds as an experiment. Unfortunately, revenue was low and the service seems to encounter a few issues [...]
How much do you make from cripsads.
Thats what we look at when we read reviews.
