When I signed up with CrispAds, I was also invited to join their partner referral program. It’s not a public program and there were a few things that still needed sorting out. But, I decided to give it a go anyway.
A couple of days ago, I received an email from Hans Chung of CrispAds regarding the partner program. And, in the email he announced that they’re suspending the said program:
We have analyzed our referral program and notice that the program is not generating sufficient revenues for our partners and is offering CrispAds very few quality blogs. Our timeline on the self service partner interface is also behind schedule. We have decided to suspend the program. We will provide quarterly reports on the existing approved bloggers that you have referred to our system. If and when we establish a more beneficial partner model for all parties we will update you.
I only managed to refer a handful of bloggers, so that will end up in limbo for now. Ah well. That’s the thing with these online ventures. They’re hit or miss. This one’s a miss for now. But, who knows? It might get resurrected another time. But I promise not to hold my breath.
