Text Link Ads: First Money In!

in Show Me The Money

As promised, I’m sharing with you the results of my experiment with Text Link Ads. After 2 months since signing up and setting the codes, I received my first PayPal payment a few days ago for the November ad that ran in my blog. Not a great deal of moolah, but I thought it wasn’t such a bad return. Let’s see if this continues. Or better yet, let’s see if the cash flow grows!

What about you? Have you tried TLA yet? If not, why don’t you check it out*? Then, let me know how it goes for you.

I just got my first paypal payment from them as well. Not a lot but its a start.

I prefer to sell text links via a webmaster forum such as Digital Point. I get the money in advance and I tell the buyer how long their ad will stay in place. No worrying about whether people will click on the ads or not.

I am using it on my personal blog. It has been 6 months since I first included the code. And you know what, I have been steadily increasing what I have earned. Not a lot but there is a steady increase.

I’ve had decent success with TLA. Nothing spectacular, but every bit helps.

Glen: Congrats!

Matt: I guess, that’s another way of being able to sell ads. Sometimes, things like TLA just makes it easier for those who don’t have enough contacts, etc.

Melissa: Congrats to you too. Sounds like it was a good move, then.

Geoff: Sometimes, little things do add up to something bigger in the long run. :-)
