Trying PayPerPost

*

After reading Darren’s latest post about recent PayPerPost developments, I decided to check out the service again. It’s been a long time since I last visited this site, and back then, I couldn’t even sign-up to test out the programme.

This time, when I checked it, I was surprised to see a lot of changes. I’m actually glad to see that they finally require a disclosure statement when it comes to their sponsored posts. Definitely a good move. There are a few other interesting new features as well.

So, finally, I bit the bullet and signed up with the programme. I’ve submitted one of my independent blogs as a test blog. We’ll see how it goes.

Thank you for giving us another shot, and for “growing with us.” Please let us know if you have any questions about your account, or any suggestions for improvement.

    Hi, PPP.

At this stage, I’m still waiting for my submitted blog to be approved. It’s been almost 48 hours and I haven’t heard anything. I wonder what’s holding things up?

I signed up with a similar programme and got approved within 24 hours, using the same blog.

I’ve been with PPP for over 7 months now and so far I’m very happy with it.

I agree that the disclosure requirements are a positive step, although I’ve been disclosing since day 1 and would continue to do so regardless of any requirements.

I haven’t made a lot of money through PPP but that’s because I haven’t chosen many of the opportunities offered — I’m picky about the ones I get involved with. They have to fit in with the topic of my blog and they have to be things I’m interested in blogging about (if I wouldn’t blog about it for free, I won’t do it for money).

If PPP keeps going the way it has so far, I’ll be a happy member for a looooong time.

Wil: Thanks for sharing your experience with PPP. Looks like it’s mostly positive for you. :-)
