10 New Ways To Make Money Online
Web Worker Daily has a post on 10 New Ways To Make Money Online. Here, the idea of using affiliates and eBay selling had been ditched as “last milleniuem” ways of reaping financial rewards from the web.
I’ve already talked in the past about some of the things that the blogger suggested like:
#1 - Offer your professional expertise in an online marketplace and #6 Online life coaching - See Consulting/Counselling category.
#3 - Blog for pay - See Blogging for Dollars category.
#7 - Virtually assist other web workers - ‘been trying to cover this via the category, Virtual Office Management.
and
# 9 - Write reviews for pay or perks - Something we started discussing some time last year. And, we’re even running a poll on this at the moment.
Two interesting suggestions in the said post were:
# 2 - Sell photos on stock photography sites - I’ve actually looked in to this about 3 or 4 years ago, but most of the services that did this sort of thing back then didn’t fit in to my working life. For one thing, a lot of them required a huge photography portfolio before getting started. Some even required fees. Now, more services are available for people who wish to do this on a smaller scale - for free or just a very small fee.
and
# 5 - Provide service and support for open source software - This was something I’ve only recently discovered. You see, when I started using Joomla, I realised that while I can basically learn as much as I can about the content management software, it takes a lot of time and effort to develop customised templates, added modules, and such. So, I started searching for support on this and found a lot of businesses based on selling related products and services. Really interesting, especially if you’re inclined to do design and/or technical work.
