It’s been about a month since Chrysalis Creativity joined the $100 Challenge. So, I figured I’ll give you an update of how it’s doing.
At the moment, here are the money-making programmes that the site’s using: PayPerPost, Google AdSense, Chitika, TextLinkAds, ReviewMe, Blogsvertise, and on a sporadic basis, Amazon.com Affiliates. A few days ago, I also added a CafePress affiliates banner.
Here’s the amount of money the site has generated between 6th February to 6th March 2007 (please note that other than TextLinkAds, none of the other monies owed have been received yet, just reported):
PayPerPost: $5.50
Google AdSense: $1.01
Chitika: $0.12
TextLinkAds: $4.89
ReviewMe: $0
Blogsvertise: $10.00
Amazon.com: $0
CafePress Affiliates:$0
TOTAL FOR MONTH ONE: $21.52
With this in mind, it looks like I managed to achieve 21% of the $100 goal. Not a great result, but not bad either. Especially considering the fact that I must’ve just earned about $30 for 2006 from the site.

With only a $100 target adSense probably isn’t one of the best ways – as to reach payout you have to achieve the whole $100 figure.

Mike: Thanks for your comment. The $100 target is just for this blog, as part of an experiment/challenge. I’m actually using AdSense in other blogs/sites and I am getting a regular cheque from them.
I have been getting a regular check from Google for well over a year now so I decided to use something else for the challenge. I decided to use Amazon.com but to this point I have only made $3.43. As I stated in another comment the surprise for me came from two sources from January to today Text Link Ads:$346.23 ($245.63 paid) and direct ad selling ($350.00) I have been quite happy with these spots seeing that I didn’t put a whole lot of work into them like I have to do with Amazon.
This one makes sence “One’s first step in wisdom is to kuesstion everything – and one’s last is to come to terms with everything.”
