A big buzz has been going on in Australia about Target’s collaboration with British designer (and daughter of ex-Beatles star Paul McCartney), Stella McCartney. The release of her “lower priced range” for the super chain store Target has been in the news a lot.
The Stella McCartney-designed clothes collection was released on the 12th of March for most of Australia. It came out a day later for Adelaide (13th March, after a public holiday Monday).
And, it seems like the collection just flew out the doors of Target stores. It was reported that the clothes are now all sold out.
But, it looks like some of the buyers weren’t planning on wearing and keeping the clothes. They simply had obvious entrepreneural plans, as these Stella McCartney designs for Target are now available via eBay*. (Read related news)
