I just started using Google AdSense referral codes in some of my sites. I still have a few things to learn about using these things, and I’m happy to see two posts on Problogger about this topic. I thought I’ll share them with you, in case you’re also interested to learn more:
- Do AdSense Referrals Work? – Definitely a heavy question in my mind. Darren has had mixed experiences on this. And, if he can’t create a decent return, I’m not sure how will the majority of ’smaller’ blogs and bloggers make enough money from this programme.
- 5 Tips for Improving AdSense Referrals Earnings – Worth thinking about for sure! According to Darren, Google AdSense and Google AdWords are the only products that seem to work for him so far. And, he gives his tips on how to make the most out of them. One of the tips he gave was creating a Google AdSense ‘pre-sell page’. I realised I’ve done this ages ago. Except I didn’t have the referral code before. A few days ago, I added the referral code. Here’s Darren’s pre-sell page. And, here’s mine.
