There were about three or four business card blog posts that I’ve come across today through my Bloglines. And one that got me interested the most is this one that is requesting its readers to send him any question about business cards.

I have never used business cards but I’ve been itching to get some printed since time immemorial. And I have been having this mind-boggling (ok, not really, but it’s a big deal for me) question that keeps me from getting myself some business cards:
How do you include your profession on your business card in such a manner that even those who are not familiar with the industry won’t have a hard time figuring out what it is you really do?
Also, I have other questions such as if you are an online business person, is it good business card etiquette not to place your mobile number if you prefer to be contacted via e-mail? And what’s better? A fancy schmancy business card or a simple dimple? 
Actually, I’d appreciate any thoughts from those who have business card experiences whether I get a backlink or not because learning from opinions is rewarding enough. But a backlink won’t hurt either.
