How Do You Handle Monday Madness?
How do you handle stressful or manic Mondays? Whether you are working as an online employee or commonly known as a telecommuter or working your a$$ of as an office slave, surely you have routine that will make you get over a busy Monday.
Working at home as a paid blogger, web designer, virtual assistant or just about any contract work usually comes with the freedom to get yourself working during your most productive time, which doesn’t necessarily have to be during Mondays. So to make sure that I don’t get too freaked when Monday comes, I either populate my to-do list with light work such as researching for blog posts OR choose not to work at all on Mondays. Such joy of not doing 9-to-5’s, right? NOT!
Not if you are only putting off doing the chores you oughta do. But if you are excellent in time management, which I confess I’m still struggling to master, be it Monday or Friday, crunch times won’t be too crunchy, I mean too stressful to handle.
Mondays become less dreadful when I prepare everything and visualize what all the tasks I need to get done on Monday. Also, reassuring myself that not being able to tick all the boxes on my to-do list when my Monday ends doesn’t mean the end of the world.
