After the First Month Check-up, here I am again, writing about the progress of the $100 Challenge. This time, I decided to do a monthly reporting practice to make the case study easier to track. So, here’s the breakdown of the first two months –

Yes, it looks like I’m half-way through.
Some of the things that I did for the month of March include:
- Re-ordered the ad template lay-outs. The AdSense shuffle seem to have worked well, as I saw a decent increase in click throughs and revenue.
- Focused on higher-paying “Sponsored Posts”. I made the decision that anything less than $10 per post is just not worth it – unless I’m really, really excited the link/product/service that is being offered for review that I would’ve written about it anyway even for free.
- Removed the “Get Paid to review this post” catch-all referral link (from PayPerPost). I realised that posting that in every single blog entry distorted the context of my blog. Hence, AdSense stopped serving topic-related ads.
- A new advertiser bought a text link via TLA.
Now, let’s find out what April brought…
