@Randal – (This is in reply to Randal’s comment) I didn’t make any money with Squidoo either (only pennies per month), UNTIL I started actually doing keyword research and starting making pages based on what people were actually searching for on Google. Then I wrote about those topics and focused the pages on items for sale on eBay and Amazon around that niche. Since then my payments have been:
May 2011 = $64.19
June 2011 = $225.06
July 2011= $261.04
and based on my ebay sales I’ve made I expect my August 2011 (paid in Oct ’11)~ est. $350
Sept 2011 (paid in Nov ’11) ~ est. $575
And I expect them to continue to grow.

And brand NEW pages CAN earn money. From my July payment of $261… $61 of that was from NEW pages I made in June or July.

I am pretty new in squidoo but personally think that it is almost impossible to make a sagnificant amount of money from it. Be more specific about what methods do you use and what you estimate earn per month pls. Congrats about the good article.

The biggest factor in whether or not you will earn money on Squidoo is getting TRAFFIC to your Squidoo page. And the best way to do that is to pick a topic you want to write about, then do some keyword research on which “exact” phrases people actually search for on Google. Then use these exact words for your Squidoo url, titles and sub-titles within your Squidoo page. I guess I need to write a Squidoo page about this

Squidoo pays ad revenue to the Top 85,000 Squidoo pages (based on their average “LensRank” for the month). You also earn commissions for any product sales you make from Amazon, Ebay, Zazzle, Cafepress, and a few more.

If nothing else, you can set up a Squidoo page for yourself, JUST to GET PAID a commission for your own eBay purchases (I’ve been getting 4-5% commission on eBay sales). You can click my name at the top of this comment to see how to do this.

I’ve just discovered Squedoo, and I’m amazed how it can help your website to get a higher pagerank and earn you money. I absolutely recommend it.
