Open Mic: Your Turn To Talk About Making Money Online

in Open Mic for Online Money

Since I’m on the road at the moment, I thought it’s a good time to open JMMO as a place to do “Open Mic” events. Basically, I’d encourage you folks to talk amongst yourselves about different issues and ideas on making money online.

Since I’ve never done an open mic event on a blog before, this is going to be highly experimental on my end. If you’ve done open mics on YOUR blog, I’ll be interested to read about your experiences too.

So, go ahead… post your thoughts, ideas, questions, suggestions and more about making money online (or any other thing that comes to mind!) in the comments section of this post.

I look forward to reading them all (and returning comments) when I get back…

I guess, I shall start things off by posting my own views about making money online.

A lot of people nowadays try to engage into blogging just to make money online. They think that just by erecting a blog, the money would just keep on coming in.

This may be because of the increasing number of blogs that are earning money from it. They think it is very easy, but in fact, it takes more than just that to make an imcome.

Just what I always say, blogs are not a get rich quick scheme. Making money from it would take considerable amount of time and effort just like any other money making opportunities.

I would like to suggest having a more focused topic to discuss the next time you hold an open mic forum. This would make the discussion more focused and easy to follow.

Thanks for your thoughts, Karlo. I’m running a blog entry highlighting your comment. And yes, I agree that a theme/topic will probably help a lot. So, will do that from hereon. :-)
