Half the year is almost over. So, I thought that it might be a good time to review one’s goals or resolutions. How are you doing with them? Did you set any goals at all? What are the challenges that you face every day when it comes to achieving your goals? Have you found some kind of success? What’s your greatest lesson so far?

I set quite a few goals at the beginning of the year! Perhaps the most important one was to earn $750 per month (the amount I calculated would allow us to live well).
That goal should happen this month, and I wasn´t expecting to make it until the end of the year!
Also, I wanted to finish my house. My kitchen is half done, it should be finished in a month or two and then we are on to the bathroom, so it looks like that goal will be accomplished as well.
Two of my other goals are to lose all the baby weight I´ve gained in two back-to-back pregnancies and to publish an ebook. Neither of those has even started yet! But in my defense, I only had my second son a month ago, so I am not really procrastinating. And with two small children, the ebook is taking longer to get started on than I expected!

I’ve been falling short of my goals, but am getting back on track by selling off some sites and upgrading others. Every month I take a close look at revenue and expenses, making adjustments on the fly. If one month or a string of months fall short, then I work extra diligently to refine my business model.
Sure I did set some goals and I’m glad to say that although I can’t realize all of ‘em, so far, I’m faring quite well on reaching many of my making money online plans. One goal that I just can’t seem to achieve is getting myself some extra hand so I can concentrate on other ventures. I discovered how not so many people appreciate or even understand what I’m doing online that makes both ends meet for me. Making money online, no matter how popular it seems for us Internet addicts is still something strange for a lot of people, esp. the not so Internet savvy ones, of course.
