Shlogging or Flogging?

Chitika members have recently been introduced to a new system of shopping online. Well, sort of. It’s called Shlogging (or Flogging, if you’re trying to ‘boo’ a deal).

Basically, people vote for the best shopping deals online (much like how Digg operates). And, other people can either ‘shlog’ it or ‘flog’ it. Deals that receive a lot of shlogging gets featured prominently.

How do you make money online from this? Well, apart from finding a way to get good deals and bargains (money saved is money earned, right?), you can also highlight some of your best affiliate links. If other people like those affiliates, you can find yourself receiving more traffic. That’s the idea anyway.

Of course, this is still new. So, only time will tell if the whole thing will work or not.
