People’s histories are interesting. I especially find it fascinating to learn about how people find their vocation in life. How people start businesses, for example, is something that I always enjoy finding out about. Did they come from a family of business people? Did someone inspire them to get in to that field? What kind of idea sparked in them? Was it borne out of passion or desperation?
In this Open Mic, I’d like to read all about YOUR beginnings in making money online. How did you get started? What led you to your current money making endeavour?
For some ideas or inspiration, read Yaro’s Business Timeline. Please feel free to share other people’s stories too, if you find something inspiring.
My story will probably need to be written in another post (or two!). For now, please do tell your story. I look forward to reading it.

I don’t mind paying for information that will help
learn how to make money. But everthing I have
purchased has been a big rip off. I ‘m now afraid
to try any others. If I feel this way what about others whom I’m sure has been ripped off.
I started realizing when my most productive time is and it’s not within the realm of the 9-to-5 life. Also, although I’ve graduated with a BS in Biology, the laboratory setting did not excite me much compared to the online world and writing. So voila!, I’m now blogging and producing web content to make both ends meet.
I actually started writing for money about ten years ago, online. It never was something I focused on until I ended up here in Guatemala and became a mother. Suddenly, I needed a way to earn money while staying at home and preferably in dollars.
Freelance writing popped up again and that is what I have been doing for the past year. Blogging is something more recent, but I´m not earning with it yet.
