It was just a matter of time, for sure. And now, here it is: PayPerPost just developed a Facebook App that can link your PayPerPost account with your Facebook account. Right now, the only way to make money from this is through getting PayPerPost referrals ($15 each). Not sure if they’ll ever venture in to the idea of posting ads on Facebook profiles and pages.
I’m an avid Facebook user and I have used PayPerPost. But, I must say that I’m reluctant to give this a go. Let me know if you do try it out.
Anyway, here’s their video tutorial:
I’ve tried it and it’s a decent start. There is plenty more it could do, but the affiliate potential and traffic potential for my blog is worth the add.
I’ve asked for more control over what it displays in my profile, including the addition of my charity totals.
@VC Dan – why do you try and portray yourself as a unbiased user of PPP? Reading your posts, which I see on every payperpost google alert, appears like you are just trying to help their image rather than stating your alliance and speaking from your biased point of view.
What’s confusing is you link to your blog where you go on and on about your investment, but on the everyday comments, you seem to speak from a bloggers point of view that doesn’t have the connection you have.

@Obvious: I make no claim of being unbiased — they can always improve, but I also love that PPP is helping more people than any other social media company right now. In fact, I siglinked to my blog specifically to help people understand my context — something you might try in the future. Although that context doesn’t change what I like or don’t like about PPP’s facebook app (I still want them to breakout charity earnings), siglinks are the standard mechanism for anyone trying to understand where a commenter is coming from.
Given your reference to my blog and posts, the siglink mechanism appears to have worked exactly as intended. That’s great!
i hate PPP because they pay through paypal and my in my country here in UAE i cannot recieve paypal payments, currently im using e-gold.
