I’m an avid Paypal user. Ever since I began using it, the web became a real global marketplace. But, I know that this isn’t for everyone.
For example, I know folks who are based in the Philippines are unable to receive payments via Paypal. So, one alternative is Xoom.
So, what about you? What online payment system are you using? If you’re not using Paypal, why not? Do you use any other online payment systems? Do you use the same for buying and selling goods? If you use other systems, what are they? What’s your favourite?

I use PayPal myself. Although I am based in Guatemala, I am originally from Canada and have a bank account there that I can use.
I tried Xoom a while back, because it seemed like less of a hassle, but they couldn´t transfer my money for some reason.
Genesis: Yeah. That’s similar on how I ‘worked around’ Paypal when I was living in Singapore and they didn’t offer it there at the time (I believe they do now). I connected it to a UK bank account.
That’s weird about Xoom, though. However, I did hear that some people have issues with them.
