Open Mic Mondays at JMMO

One thing I realised about the readers and visitors of this blog is that many seem to be newcomers in to the world of making money online. So, I thought I’d open this week’s open mic to all of you who might have questions about money making on the web. Ask anything. No question is too simple or too basic for me. If it’s a bit complicated, go ask away too. I’m not sure if I can answer all of your questions, but I will definitely do my best to look for the answers. And, if I can’t, I’ll look for someone who can.

So, now, if you can get free advice about how to start making money online (or to make more money online), what would you ask? What do you need the most help with?

OK, I got one for you, Shai… I know there’s no way to get rich quick, but let’s say that you had, oh, less than $50 to start with, no established reputation, no web site — what is the fastest way to start earning money online — doesn’t have to be big money, but let’s say significantly more than minimum wage.

For example, if you wanted to make an extra $1,000 in the next two weeks, starting from scratch, what would you do?

Should I use one advertising style on my site, or mix-and-match? Google Adsense, vs Text-Link-Ads, vs. sell-my-own, vs. Adbrite.

Hi, I wanted to join this company named Micro Continuity and I am not sure if I should waste the time or money for the program. They are willing to send a free Ipod with 6 hrs of detailed information on the business and offer free coaching, all for the shipping price of $9.97 and a subscription to their newsletter for $49.95 a year. I am so tired of investing money and getting scammed. All I want to do is make a living, modest or more does not matter I just want something to work for once so I can earn an income. Can you suggest a company that is on the level? Thanks
