Almost four months ago, I told you all about the possibility of making money online with Squidoo. And now, I’m pleased to report to you that the first money came through via Paypal a couple of days ago.
Granted, US$7.95 is only enough to buy a cup of tea and a chocolate chip muffin in a semi-decent cafe around where I live. But hey, it’s something, right? Especially if you’ve never made any money online ever. 
Sometimes, just getting that first “paycheck” is enough to encourage and to spur you on. If anything, you can tell the naysayers in your life: “See, you CAN make money off the Internet!”
No, seriously, I only have about 5 Squidoo lenses at the moment. All of them created just for fun. They didn’t really take that long to make, once I got the hang of the system. And, my money-making lens is actually the first one I created. The other four were mostly created to drive traffic to my blogs.
So, if you want to give it a go, start making your Squidoo lenses today. You might also want to read Squidoo Profits Guide* for some inspiration and basic ideas.

Nice post. I think lenses are a fantastic tool to getting the word out about our products.
I am worried about the Google Slap to Squidoo back in July, but I still think that Squidoo is a valuable tool in the Internet Marketers arsenal.
