We talk about “the ideal figure” usually within the context of the human form. Of course, there are two types of ideal here:
The Universal Ideal – This is the figure that we often see on TV, in magazines and other media. Although some people may seem to have this figure (either through pure genetic inheritance, cosmetic surgery or by airbrush), it’s almost unrealistic for most people to look at this as something to achieve.
The Realistic Ideal – This is the figure that can be best described as “your personal best figure.” Regardless of what you’re born with or whatever circumstance you might be facing, you know that there is a certain ‘magic figure’ that can help you reach your personal best.
I believe that this is the same with making money online. We all have this “ideal dollar figures” in our heads. What’s YOUR ideal figure?
Just over two years ago, my target amount (or ‘ideal dollar figure’) when it comes to making money online was to earn about US$100 a day. I’m pleased to report that I’m way past that number. Now, I have to re-adjust my new ideal. What about you?

I’ve setup 3 goals at the moment. One is a short term goal of 1 Clickbank sale. Yea I think most people who make a living online are laughing at this, but I’m finding it hard to find a product I’d actually buy for myself let alone try to sell it to other people. I’m a month in on trying, but no luck.
The second is a long term goal of $100/day passive income from the internet. I hope to achieve this one in about one year time period. I plan to reach it by combining a couple methods (domain parking), some article marketing, and hopefully some kickbacks from long term referral programs. I didn’t include my blog as part of the plan since that part I’m just using as a journal for myself to keep track of what I did along the way. If the blog helps out then, well more points for me I guess.
Last goal is for me is to get away from making money via WoW. I make a little bit a month from it, and since I haven’t made money elsewhere its kind of hard to stop doing so. So as I start reaching my second goal, this third goal of mine should also be reached eventually I think.
