Open Mic Monday: The First Online Money

It’s the first of the month! Happy 1st of October! And, I thought it’ll be interesting to talk about the first ever dollar you made online.
To be honest, mine came years ago, so my memory’s a little bit hazy. But, if I remember correctly, I received my first official cheque from Suite101.com. They used to be one of the few places you can make money by becoming a columnist/contributing writer. It wasn’t a lot of money, but it was real money. It definitely got me hooked. I stopped writing for Suite 101 a few years ago because I ended up with new, better online projects. And, there was a time when they abolished their payment system altogether. I believe they’re paying their writers again now. But, I’m not well versed on their payment system anymore.
So, what about you? How and where did you make your first money online?
By the way, to everyone celebrating Labour Day (it is here in Adelaide, Australia), hope you enjoyed your day.

Adsense was my first money made in 2004. I made that first dollar via pennies and nickels over a couple months.

I hope to get my first payment on the end of this month of adsense. That’s really trilling. I started in march this year with blogging and putting adverts on the blogs.
