Lately, I’ve been bumping into sites advertising e-books about ways to make money online through free job listing sites like Craigslist and BestJobs. I’m very much worried about the proliferation of these types of e-books because it has become my daily routine to scour these sites for job leads I regularly post on my home based job blog. And I notice the considerable increase of fake job leads, which I think are products of the advice contained in these e-books.
I’ve already flagged too many Craigslist ads, which are actually sales pages disguised as job leads – Helium referral program pages that keep on showing up as writer job openings, VistaPrint redirects and worse some well-written job leads that try to trick people to pay some amount before letting them in into the secret of transcribing your way to thousands of dollars per week! Sheesh.
Will you agree with me about my speculation that when it comes to making money off the Internet many of those who really get the most out of it are those who never care about what’s right and wrong such as the perpetrators of Nigerian email scams?
Now although I’m not saying that online money makers are all doing it using sly methods, I can’t help but notice that many are using some type of tricks (one is with the use of ad positioning tricks to get people to click unintentionally on ads) to make money.
Now my question is, what do you consider as unethical when it comes to making money online. I know that we have varying degree of tolerance.

Yeah, what some people will do just for a little attention to make money online.
Even though entries to such scams are free, you will end up doing the same ad posting for the same scam jobs without ever seeing any money for your effort. So, before joining any schemes or programs, try to find out various job forums and message boards to get information on such work at home job scams.
