I’m always on the lookout for good web hosting services. I know there are thousands out there – and it can be really confusing for newbies to the ‘make money online’ world which one to choose.
So, if you were to recommend a web host, who would it be and why?
At the moment, I’ve had the best, long-running experience with ICD Soft so far. There are limitations to their services, but they’ve been good to me, so I’ve become a loyal customer/supporter.
A couple of other hosts I use: GoDaddy Hosting and SiteGround. Both have their own pros and cons. I’m not an avid customer yet, but they seem to be working all right at this stage. Will probably post better reviews in the future, when I’ve been with them long enough (currently been using them for less than a year).
Rackspace is awesome, although expensive. I’m currently with ServerBeach.com. If you know what you’re doing when it comes to administering a web/email server, they are pretty good. Use my referral code to save $100: Z873B7PHF5
I have been designing sites for about 10 years. The best web hosts I have used are Host Gator and Jumpline.com. The worst – Verio.
I use Network Solutions. They may not be the least expensive, but they have all the bells and whistles you could want, and their customer service is AWESOME!
These days I use Hostgator… I had a great deal with another small outfit (who shall remain unnamed) until the server crashed and it took them forever to get it going again.
I’d have to say DreamHost isn’t too bad. I got them on a deal, so I’m giving them a try.
HostGator has also proven to be good.
I’m biased because I have a relationship with the company (I work for them), but Idologic.com is good. It is a high end reseller/dedicated host with a strong commitment to customer service.
