Top Ways to Make Money Online 2007
1. AdSense
No matter how many people hate the manipulation Google’s doing to lower the earnings of the AdSense publishers, AdSense is still one of the easiest ways to make money online if you want to start with no capital at all except for ISP fee and electricity, of course.
If you have a website that’s enjoying a good flow of targeted traffic (niche site), it’s not hard to earn from affiliate programs. Who hasn’t tried yet affiliate program services like CJ, ShareaSale, DealdotCom?
Although Google has punished those who are using this service without using the now not-so-secret trick, using TLA on a blog is still one of the most widely used methods to make money online this year.
B5media, Know More Media (shameless plug: I’m the new Productivity Goal blogger, please check it out), Creative-Weblogging, 451Press, and a gazillion of other blog networks won’t continue a-popping if there’s no money in it. Whether you maintain your own niche blogs or you’re blogging for a blog network, there’s no doubt about it - blogging, if done properly, can put food on the table.
5. eBay
Selling antiques, collectible toys and gadgets is another popular way to make money online. And don’t discount the publicity advertisers gained from bidding for odd items and the traffic that smart eBay users get for their websites through selling items.
6. Infoproducts
This is also the year when creating ebooks, producing podcasts and online video tutorials have become very popular ways to make money through the Internet. Either you create and sell them directly or create and give them away for free to build your list for other services you want to sell.
7. E-courses and Teleseminars
There’s Darren’s and Andy Wibbel’s 6-Figure Blogging, Yaro Starak’s Blog Mastermind, and Brian Clark’s Teaching Sells. These are all proofs that online courses sells. An e-course is a form of infoproduct has gained a great traction for online money makers this year.
8. Online Jobs or Businesses
Web designing, freelance writing, virtual assistance, coaching and consulting - these are the most popular service businesses that made it in my list of top ways to make money online this year simply because their target markets are usually found online.
9. Web 2.0 Startups
And when speaking of ways to grab some moolah with the help of the Internet, who can ever not think of all those sites with colorful designs and logos run by users? Evidence? YouTube - $1.65 billion, MyBlogLog - 10 million, FeedBurner - $100 million.
Now to round up 10 ways, tell me another way or even more that made this lovely year of 2007 a great way to make money online. Which of these methods have you explored this year? How about next year?

I’ve learned about the KMM-b5media partnership. Aside from the transition to WordPress, I’m excited to see more of the results of this partnership.

Hey, Alfa, you missed direct advertisers. Many of my bloggers make more in direct advertisements in one month than they make from AdSense in a year.

Great post Alfa! Personally for me, its really been a combination of Adsense and affiliate marketing with a focus on pay per lead programs. It’s always amazed me how someone can just earn money for sending referrals to another site without any sales having to be made. So adsense and pay per lead programs has always been a no brainer for me.
But for a while I depended on adsense too much and we’ve all seen how that can fluctuate at Google’s whim. So in 2007 I made a concentrated effort on promoting more pay per lead programs and that lead to some really big things.
I was recently able to retire from my corporate 9-5 job of seven years because of my shift on my income approaches.
I think one money maker that you’re missing is one on one coaching or consulting. Too often we take for granted that what we’re all successfully doing everyone knows how to do but that’s far from true. Because of my own success I’ve been able to pick up a few clients from my former job as clients and currently teaching them how to make money online. So I think coaching or consulting is another one to be added.
It’s what I plan to really focus on in 2008 now that I’m free of the rat race. lol

Currently I’m making money from the Adsense, Affiliate program and selling ads on my blog. I believe we really need a special “idea” to make money from web 2.0 startup and this is not easy for me at my current level of internet experience.
