The $100 Challenge, Revisited
Last year, I introduced the $100 Challenge. It was a fun little project that I’ve documented. And, although I was working on my own little ‘test site’ to show that this is a doable target, there were also participants who gave it a go.
Now, I’ve received some feedback from some folks who want to revive this challenge. But, since we will all be coming from different perspectives, I thought that we can look at this project differently this year.
And, if you’re up for the challenge, I encourage you to:
1) Name your $100 challenge. Will it be making you first $100 online, regardless of the time deadline? Will it be a target of $100 a year, $100 a month, $100 a week, or $100 a day?
2) How do you want to reach your $100 challenge target? Blogging? Writing? Sales? Affiliates?
3) Tell me you want to take on the challenge either by commenting on this post and/or posting on your blog about it (and telling me that you did).
I’ll create another list of 2008 participants, just to see how we do at the end of the year. I’ll most likely post regular updates to on how we’re all doing… as well as the lessons we’re all learning along the way. I’m even considering doing some kind of raffle/giveaway, etc for active participants, what do you think?
Anyway, if you have any questions, feedback, ideas, etc. on this project/challenge, feel free to share. I look forward to hearing from you.

When I first read this article last January, I thought this $100 challenge was impossible. My Adsense is not even $30 after one year of sign-up. But then, I explored every paid opps online until I hit my first $100 last Feb writing paid posts. This month, my online income is over $100. The only side effect was Google reduced my PR 3 to zilch.

I have been trying to make money online since november last year, I haven’t made anywhere near $100 to date, in fact I am probably at about $20 with half of that from Adsense. In my defence however I am at university in the 3rd year of a physics degree so don’t have that much time and also due to internet availability I only have a few hours of online time available each day, sometimes none. Still, no need to moan, just have to keep on keeping on!
