Get Paid to be Interviewed for a JobGuess how many millions of people would die to get a job interview. 469,152,208!

I just made that up. Seriously, you know that many would fight tooth and nail to be given that chance to win a job, right?

Now how about getting paid to get interviewed? This one I didn’t invent. There’s actually a website that makes companies pay people to get interviewed for jobs – NotchUp.com

So how does it work?

1. You apply to be able to sign up or if you know one who distributes invites, get invited. This is the catch since it’s in its beta and gazillions are liking this concept.

2. Fill out your profile, which can be as easy as importing your LinkedIn profile.

3. Set your job interview price ($200-$500) with the help of the NotchUp calculator.

4. DON’T apply for jobs. Companies will find and request that they interview you for a job.

5. Accept the offers that you like.

6. NotchUp will collect the money and send it to you.

This might be interesting for those who are currently working for a company or the “passive job seeker” market – NotchUp.com’s target. If you’re worrying whether your current employer might learn about your NotchUp profile – the site says it will keep your profile hidden.

One thing that seems hard to decipher though is how will an applicant be judged as to his/her being engaged as a candidate, which is one of the criteria that should be met before one gets paid. via

How about you? What do you think are the loopholes of this type of service? Will you join NotchUp?
