Tip intentions are only made real when somebody pays the money they promised. So if somebody has paid up their tips to you, you get the money. Tip intentions however can indeed be cancelled. But if somebody cancels their intention, they were probably not going to tip you anyway (but at least they considered it).

Tipit.to is a free service. The amount charged is exactly that which is necessary to break even on transaction costs. We earn money from your tips.

@Joseph, depending on your site and how you manage to motivate your visitors to donate to you, it does work. And yes some sites are already receiving significant amounts through Tipit.to.

@ Missy

TipIt, TipJoy, Tip us all - getting tipsy from all of those tip services. Haha..

I think this will work for those who don't have ads on their sites. What do you think?

@ Joseph Martin

I'm guessing that many bloggers who already have big following can benefit from these types of monetization.

@ Maruel

Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, tippers can still back out but they can also pay the tip immediately even if the tip haven't reached the threshold of $3. The remaining amount will go to the tippers wallet.
