osCommerce: Open Source Online Merchant Solution

OScommerceIf you’re thinking of setting up an online shop on your own site, then you might want to consider using osCommerce. It is currently available as an open source software (translation: free of charge!). And, some hosting services even offer easy install options.

The latest release also include Paypal as payment gateway.
Other payment solutions that work with osCommerce include: 2Checkout, iPayment, and PayNova, among others.

      OSC is not for the lay person. You need to be a good programmer to even do a small modification to your store. If anyone has better suggestions on other carts, I’m keen. Drupal has one, but dont know what it’s worth.
