Some features of osCommerce include:

- Customers can set up and maintain their own accounts
- Multi-currency support
- Invoices
- Back-up of data
- Statistics from customers and products
- Extendability through add-ons
- … plus many others
If you’ve used – or still use – osCommerce as an application for your online store, do let us know what you think of it.
Open source solutions sound like a good way to get started with online commerce. Thanks for sharing this software info.
Yvonne: You’re welcome. Glad you found this info useful.
OSC is not for the lay person. You need to be a good programmer to even do a small modification to your store. If anyone has better suggestions on other carts, I’m keen. Drupal has one, but dont know what it’s worth.
