Alan: I guess, that will depend on where you are in your life and what're your expectations from paid blogging. If you're treating this as a "job" - w/hopes to make more money in the future, then it is a part time job. If you're just having fun and any money you get is simply a bonus, then it must just be a hobby. ;-)

mEldita - So glad that you did give it a go. And, even if you do start at a 'small-ish' number, you never where it will go from there. ;-) I started making money online with $15-30/month. Now, it's a full time job + business.

I participated and I answered part time since earning roughly $100 per month is just a plus and not something I can call a full time job earnings.

Before I joined the paid blogging world, my blog is purely about my thoughts and feelings (whether positive or negative) as I see it and it is mostly written in our native language which is Tagalog. That for me is how it makes my blog more personal because that's how I am when you see me in person.

Since I was a SAHM and was finally persuaded by lots of mommy bloggers, I joined the paid blogging world late last year not knowing that I'll be going back to the corporate world early this year. Anyway, it was a nice feeling every time I get to receive a note that another payment has been made to my PayPal account and that what drives me until now.

My honest opinion is, if you have lots of time to give and dead serious in blogging, can multi-task, a good writer and can give good quality information, then probably you can invest your time and blog to make it as a full time career. :)

I didn't participate in the poll, but if I did, I'd have trouble deciding between hobby and part time job. Is $150-200 per month enough to be considered a part time job or is it still just in the hobby category?
