I also just applied for a job through Applicant Tree. I answered the Education question online, and then called the telephone number provided. I could hear "the boiler room" behind the call.

As soon as The Applicant Tree (A.T.) rep asked me the same question again, I got suspicious as in "What are they selling?"

I asked the A.T. rep why the same questions, and she reminded me that I called them. She also kept saying that all her job was to get me through the application process. The more I pressed with questions such as "What is Applicant Tree?", the ruder she got.

I didn't even think of googling a review on Applicant Tree because they looked legit. They start out with a legitimate job advertisement, and then ask you to contact them as though they were a legitimate employment agency.

After my telephone experience, I don't trust Applicant Tree. Now I need to block them from my cell and unsubscribe their emails.

I agree with Anonymouse4$. Applied for a possition for which I am well qualified located in my home town. Got redirected also to Applicant Tree and filled in the application and attached my Resume, Opps! Had to call the posted number after hiting the "Submit my application" button. (888-907-1419) Like Anonymouse4$, got the same about returning to college and appying for a student loan "If you could do it now?"

Tought about it for a second and repied, "I'd like to go back to school, but I'm not in favor of having to pay for a student loan." A few more questions of the "Loan" nature before moving on and was told, "This is all I need from you. Good luck with your job application.
This all started to sound like a DEAD END SCAM. I typed "Applicant Tree + Review" in my search engine, that brought me here and other sites as well. Also was told by the interviewer that I'd recieve an Email so I could continue my application process. Then was asked if I would do a survey of 40 minutes and be elegible for a chance to win $500.00. Hmmmmmm!

Appearently, these people search other legitamate Job Search sites and play on them for their own gain.

I asked this question to several answer sites. Then Google led me to this site. Is Applicant Tree a recruiter for colleges posing on Job wall and Employment sites? The reason why I asked is that I found them on Job wall. I applied for a particular position that I was interested in and entered the information on the application. I was then told to call at 8885956229. The person answered the phone as if with Applicant Tree. I thought I would be speaking with someone about the position but instead I get told about the 5-40 minute interview spiel and for quality assurance this call may be recorded. The questions start out about my background based on the application. Then the rep says professionally speaking. If you could go to school what would it be for? I answer the question but wondered why I am being asked about college enrollment and told about financial aid when I am simply replying to a job description. I told him I was laid off and that I need a job now. Tuition reimbursement is something I would look into later. I made it very clear to him that I am applying for the position they advertised. He asked me if I would like to speak with his manager about financial options. I told him now is not a good time advising his manager to call me later. I grew more suspicious of the rep’s motive. Buyer Beware this appears to be a scam.

I agree with Yeah Right. These other posters are part of the company. I rcvd a text message saying to call 866 825-5509 regarding a delivery job I had applied to. When you call they answer Applicant Tree and give you all the BS about it'll take 5min to 40min to prequalify me for the position. Called another time to try and find out about the position and they stated that it was confidential details but if they could get some personal info and a small fee they'd make sure I was qulified for the position...for delivery? And when I asked what if I wasn't qualified to which she said you won't be charged (ok, sure, sounds like indentity theft to me) and if not then she can help me get schooling to improve my position. Ok, so I give my credit card and give someone personal information, when it started as an unwanted text message. S-C-A-M

Well, I'm not sure about this one yet. I believe they sold my information to three on line colleges, who harrased me for days calling even on a Sunday morning at 8AM until I spoke to them and they were so expensive I said no. Also, I never received a phone call from the "so called" perspective employer so I don't even know if they existed. I never posted my resume, I'm not sure where they obtained it-

Interesting. Can we say "SCHILLS"?

It's a scam. These are all employees or owners of the business. Never trust ANY site with nothing but glowing comments...especially when the comments have an odd similarity in writing style...

Oh, wow! I have not heard of this until now. I agree with everyone else, this is one of the best things I've heard about in awhile; a way to make money while looking for a job. How can it get better than that! I'm going sign up for it straight away. Hope I get a lot of interest!
