Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your weblog? My website is in the exact same area of interest as yours and my visitors would really benefit from some of the information you present here. Please let me know if this alright with you. Appreciate it!

I love Twitter, but didn't understand the draw at first. I couldn't figure out how to find "friends" when there was no way to search by name. I guess I was stuck in a "myspace mentality". Now I'm happily twittering and consider it a great addition to my blog. I can keep people quickly up to date, post quick photos, and catch the breaking news (like the recent earthquakes here in the midwest US- the news broke on Twitter an hour before I saw it on the TV news).

I work from home and Twitter keeps me from going a bit loopy from the lack of people to talk to — and I've even found new clients through Twitter!
I'm a big fan.

Aside from being getting to know a lot of great people, Twitter's also great when I have to make quick research and Google just won't deliver. Lots of resourceful folks are helpful and Twitter just made them more accessible. :-)

Am loving Twitter more and more but am still working through my thoughts on it (I know I am not alone in this).

I started using it to follow some individuals I wanted to learn from and very much enjoy that aspect of it as well as the ability to share pieces of my own, ongoing, internal monologue.

What I don't like is the feeling I have sometimes that the Twitter community is the digital equivalent to walking around a people-packed Red Square, listening to conversations, jumping into conversations and generally mumbling to myself.

Like I said I am still working through my expectations...

Twitter is a tool that helps break down the distance barriers for us guys here in Australia. Mind you sometimes that also means staying up late, tweeting to friends and colleagues in the US and Europe.

YES, I Twitter. Like you, I was skeptical at first and couldn't figure out why on earth I wanted to know what random strangers around the world were doing at any given moment.

Then I figured out that it is having a group of people to follow (who I do care about for one reason or another) that makes Twitter matter.

I have business contacts, personal contacts and folks who are both in my Twitter stream. I genuinely care about them and what is going on in their lives - be it personal or business.

Twitter is a way to build relationships with people. I don't follow those who are only there for a one-way conversation. This includes spammers, bots and self-important types.

I love Twitter and really hope that it stays a part of my tech life for a long time
