Over the last year or so, there had been more and more ways to monetize video content. One big company who recently embraced this concept is Amazon when they launched the Amazon Video Widget.
Basically, the idea is that when you sign-in to your Amazon affiliate account, you can visit the Video Widget wizard (under ‘Widgets’ section). Using the wizard, you can upload an original video and add relevant Amazon products as pop-ads. You can add as many - or as little - as you wish. Video formats accepted include: avi, flv, mov, wmv.

It still seemed a bit buggy when I tested it out. Some products were added, but they disappear on the video playback.
Anyway, it’ll be interesting to know how people will accept this type of video monetization. Let me know what you think of it!
