They are articles, not stories. Sorry but that’s a pet peeve of mine. When you write for a newspaper or magazine, they are stories. When you do content writing online, they are articles – unless you are writing for a news site.

I stopped writing more stories for eHow because they kept removing my articles. I am a professional working journalist with a degree in journalism and some of my stories were extremely popular. Strangely, those were the ones that were removed. I wrote 30 articles and have 19 remaining. They reinstated one article that I complained about. I am suspicious that if an article is too popular they pull it and have in-house writers do it so they get the click throughs. My complaint to them was my stories about women’s issues such as the pill and PCOS. They didn’t like the way I used examples from my own experiences, so learn from my mistakes and keep your stories in a “how to” format.

Can you have multiple eHow accounts? Is it allowed? Might be useful if you want to write about different topics.

ehow is the best place to write for an earn money.. i m astonished to know the number of people who visit the site for even simple things that they want to know.. its a great site for work for!!

I started writing for Ehow in April 2009. My most popular article was about swine flu but they removed it saying it wasn’t a how to. But it was. Anyway my other 16 articles including the removed one, made me about $17 in May. I would like to hear from people who make more. Some have written 1000 articles but I don’t know how much they get or if they were paid up-front by Ehow. I published 10 articles on Associated Content a wel but they are taking forever to publish them. I also submitted two videos on AS, which have been accepted and made me 12 cents on the first day. I would like to get up to $150 per month. Any suggestions?

I am having fun writing eHow articles. On days when I experience writer’s block, I just take a little break and resume writing later, as soon as the writer’s block lifts.
