Amazon just released a new widget called the Page Recommender. Basically, it’s a Javascript widget that you can add to your blogs or websites.
The beauty of this widget is that it comes up with recommendations to other pages within YOUR website or weblog. Thus, giving readers and visitors a chance to discover more of your content. And perhaps, increase the chance of you earning an Amazon affiliate referral.
So, how do you get it installed? Just log in to your Amazon affiliate account, look for the ‘Page Recommender’ widget, then add the javascript to all the pages on your site or blog that you wish to be recommended through the widget.
Anyway, here’s an example (but, the page recommendations might not be that great yet, as I have yet to add this to other posts):
If you give it a go, let me know. I’ll be interested to know what you think of it.

Shai, do you know if it can just be added to your main page index file rather than have to go through and add to each blog post featuring a product from Amazon?
Hi Angela,
According to the FAQ it looks like you have to add it to all of the pages.
“In order for a page on your site to be recommended a Page Recommender widget must be present on that page.”

Well, I’m no expert, but looking at the wording and through my understanding of how relevancy widgets work, you can add it into your code. The above quote from the program just says the code needs to be present in the page, so adding it sitewide also causes it to be considered present. At least, I believe that is the case.
Hi, Angela:
You shouldn’t have to go in and edit each and every post. You should be able to go into the code, look for “Single Post”.
While there, you can add the Amazon widget code, and it will appear on every post.
If you add the code to “Main Index”, it will only appear on the home page of your blog.
