Oddly, not one bit of advice or support for HubPages gives step by step instructions to integrate the affiliates. It is one thing to say, you can make money through them, another to leave instructions on how to access them. HubPages is like so many new services, no Help or getting started resources.

Hey Shai! I checked out something you wrote via twitter and then started poking around here.
I have been writing for Hubpages for about 1 1/2 years. I ahve nearly 400 articles and at this point I am hitting over 500.00 in residual affiliate money every month, with adsense being a large percentage of that. I am not as involved in the community aspect as many others because of other writing commitments and simple lack of time.

Anyway, if you are not looking for instant financial gratification and willing to work up to a significant income AND post enough to pique google’s interest is a great option.

I’ve been a hubpage author for 10 months. Squidoo for about the same.

I was unsuccessful at Squidoo. I didn’t care for the way the lens are put together regardless of the vast amount of whistles and bells that can be added to lens. Squidoo lens seem to like a lot of extras, where on Hubpages, it’s about the writing content.

I do pretty well at hubpages. I’m not one of the $100 a month hubbers Ryan mentioned, but I’m on my way. For October I did $43 for adsense, $29 for amazon, and $8 for ebay.

As far as affiliate refferalls go, I tried promoting to get people to join and write so that I could recieve a percentage of the page impressions. The time and effort that went in to it was not worth it. I do pretty good just writing articles myself…

I just want to echo what everyone else said (especially Ryan) and say that HubPages is great. It is a great place to go for content and advice, and you can also make a decent amount of money there as well.

I am doing what I can do corner the college market there, and so far – things are going well.

Perhaps adsnese is a very effective way to make cash online. All you need is great content for a targeted niche right?

Yeah, this page rocks. You hit the nail on the head here. Writing content for cash is probably the easiest ways to make cash online. Then gain some people HATE writing, I personally love it though. I write about investments and how to invest stock , you can check my page out in ur spare time. Ajay

I’ve been at Hubpages about two months, and I love it. If you are trying to make money with Adsense, they can be a huge impact on income when you’re just starting out, and also give great traffic and make for good backlinks. The community is great and I reccomend them strongly.
