Things had been pretty quiet around here the last couple of weeks, due to the fact that I had to face a few things in my personal and professional life. You see, my main online money-making job has ceased two weeks ago. This brought about a massive outpouring of support via comments, emails, chats, and several other messages. Including opportunity offers and other similar ideas. I wanted to respond to every single one as best as I can, so my time has been taken up with those things.
Of course, I also had to re-adjust certain matters in my day-to-day life as I prepare to face tough economic times – budgeting, planning, life and opportunity assessments, brainstorming, and more. So yes, it has been an interesting couple of weeks.
But, I’m slowly digesting the news and I’m getting right back on my feet with project and business ideas, as well as possible job/work opportunities. It’s a scary but exciting time.
Now, what does this mean for JMMO?
Well, nothing too drastic really. The only major bit is that I’ve decided to take this blog off the market for now. I know that I started thinking about selling this blog over 3 months ago. But, with my newfound freedom in time, plus the tough economic times and such, I figured that it’s probably best to hold on to this blog at this time. After all, I’m definitely going to have plenty of blogging material now that I’ll be back on the hunt for different ways to make money online.
During the time that I thought about selling this blog, it was really interesting to receive at least 2 serious offers, about a dozen enquiries, and a couple of other proposals. That’s only from blogging the news of the sale. I didn’t even list or announce the sale anywhere else. So, that’s very interesting – and I’ve learned a lot. Who knows? Maybe I might look in to other possible experiences in blog selling one day.
Besides, one of the things that I realised that I enjoy now is the fact that JMMO is no longer part of a network. I think that being able to manage JMMO on my own again has really given me a fresh look on this blog. And, I love learning all about it again.
So yes, at this stage, I plan on blogging here at JMMO with a regular schedule again shortly. If you have any questions, suggestions, ideas, and tips – do send them in. I’d love to hear from you!
