About a month ago, I mentioned that I was going to test Google Adsense for Domains. Well, I didn’t expect much, as the results of my initial efforts in domain cash parking was pretty dismal. Yes, after trying Sedo and GoDaddy, as well as Chitika for domain cash parking, I was just about ready to give up on the whole concept. But, almost a month in from trying Adsense for Domains, I’m actually pleasantly surprised to see over $2 worth of income from my single domain on that service.
Okay, granted $2 isn’t much. But, considering I’ve received nothing for my previous efforts, I thought this was pretty cool. Besides, for a domain that’s worth approximately $10 a year, if it continues making approximately $2.50 a month, I can end up making $30/year per domain. That’s about $20 profit. Not bad, especially if the domain will be inactive anyway.
In any case, I thought I’ll let you know about it, as I’ve received a few queries about the concept of domain cash parking. I’ll keep you posted for any other developments.
How about you? Have you tried Adsense for Domains yet? How is it working for you?

Hi Shai, I’ve had a similar experience. I had a dozen or so domains parked at GoDaddy and earned nothing for three years, when I moved them to Google’s adsense tool in January I did it more out of spite then a genuine desire to see an income from it but I make between $1 and $4 per month off each domain, which as you point out isn’t much but it adds up to around $250 per year. More than enough to cover the cost of registration.
Thanks for sharing that, Christopher. Good to know that there are people doing something similar and reaping the benefits. Well done.
I am trying this out I ran across a post that said their domains placemnet in SE dropped either of you guys seen that?
I just started with AdSense on Thursday (four days ago). I put two domains up. I’ve made $100 already! Seriously! AdSense works.
Part of the reason I’ve made so much is because I’ve been seeking out domains with good keywords (loans, lawyers, medical-related) and to start out I’ve gotten a few friends to click a couple times to see what kind of an impact it has so my earnings won’t always be that high but if you have domains you aren’t using AdSense is probably the best place to go. It really works!
Craig you are playing with fire its against the rules to have some one click on you pages, Google with find you if you keep doing it. Stop.
nice info, i will try this!
yap, I also try the Google Adsense for domains about 1 week, and I get $3, it isn’t satisfied me, however the domain is free for the first year. It maybe ok, in my opinion.
I’ve just switched from sedo, had no luck there and don’t hold out hopes for Google working any better. But if it eventually pays off the cost of the domain that’s something!
I was surprised how few configuration options Adsense for Domains gives you: nothing beyond choosing a colour scheme and a few keywords.
Craig is unbelievably insane by doing that… Maybe your account have been banned already…
such a funny man craig..you need to stop that bro
I try this for apx 60 days with 3 domains that were making money at a parking service…
