$100 Challenge: Year 3, Month 5 Update

It feels like it has been a while since I last shared results from my $100 challenge: Year 3 *! So, here’s an update (based on May ’09 events).

Project A Update: A long-time blog that needs to increase income after major shifts. Initial target is $100 a month, working towards $100 a week.

Although this project still reached over $100 for the month, its total is the lowest it has been since Month 1. I’m not sure about what may be the contributors of its lower income. But, my biggest guess is that it’s due to the fact that it was getting towards North America’s summer months. But, that’s just a guess. In any case, here’s the tally for this project so far:

Month 1 – $66
Month 2 – $147.80
Month 3 – $154.06
Month 4 – $188.33
Month 5 – $120.59

Project B Update: Bringing a Brand new site to make its first $100

This site remains untouched, and yet, it seems to be bringing in some income, no matter how little.

Tally for the site so far: Month 1: Non-existent site. Month 2: $0.00. Month 3: $0.21. Month 4: $2.27. Month 5: $1.91.

So, total – $4.39. All on Adsense. Hmmm… $95.61 to go!

Project C Update: To see how long it will take for a relatively new online venture to make its first $100.

Since I’ve already met the initial goal for this project last month (Month 4), I think I’m just going to retire the updates from Project C. Having said that, yes, I am still regularly involved in this online venture and I’m still making money from it – including some passive/residual income.

I wonder how the other $100 challenge participants are doing?
